Comparing Teenage Auto Insurance

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

What should I look for in insurance for my teenage son driver?

I have had my own insurance now for quite some time and I know that the company I am with offers a discount with multiple drivers but I am not sure that the type of insurance that I have is what my teenager needs. I have car insurance Ontario and can they help me get all the coverage that I should have and still get a discount if all the drivers in my household are on the same policy? I would like a discount but I need to make sure everything is covered.

Use Car Stereo Reviews To Your Advantage

Monday, February 22nd, 2010

Today is the day you need to start doing something different from what you have been doing.  Are you the type of person that just buys something just because someone else told you to?  I have done that a few times and I have to say that everything I got was just not up to my standards that is why I read car stereo reviews now.  Every time I have followed someones advice instead of doing the proper research, I have been highly disappointed with the product.  I guess I would tell anyone, if you like what you hear, just double check to make sure it is the truth.

Jeep Cherokee Comfort

Sunday, February 21st, 2010

Having always been involved in several sports, I needed a vehicle that could keep up with my active lifestyle.  I love to camp, I love to mountain bike, I love to ski, and I love to spend time outdoors.  I needed a reliable, roomy, and comfortable vehicle to meet my needs.  After several days of shopping, I finally settled on a Jeep Cherokee.  I found a used model at a great price and I could not be happier with my choice.  Not only is it a practical and comfortable choice, it keeps me safe in all weather conditions and road conditions.

Snow in Chicago

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

Every winter in Chicago, I get nervous my car is going to breakdown, or someone is going to slam into me that isn’t paying attention. This year, I decided I was going to be better prepared in the event of an accident. So I started searching for a chicago insurance co that could service my needs. I went to the yellow pages, but quickly found too many people in there. I turned to the internet and started reading reviews of local companies, and to my surprise, I was able to save over $300 just this year alone by getting free quotes online.

Buying A Sports Car

Saturday, February 6th, 2010

Lately, I’ve really been wishing I had the money to buy even a used ford mustang.  There is something about that car that I have always really admired.  If I were ever to buy a sports car, I would have to go with the Mustang, because it has been my dream car since I was a little boy.  The problem is they are a bit pricey, and I still have to pay for college.  But if I had the money, and had a way to pay for the insurance, I would buy the Mustang in the blink of an eye.

Know The Benefits Of Donating A Car

Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010

The trend of good practice of car donation to various charitable organizations is really picking up some popularity but still a lot of people are not aware of how the whole thing works and the major benefits that come along with it. The act of car donations can be really a kind and fulfilling thing to do for as long as the vehicle can still be repaired and used. Instead of just keeping or wasting away a car that you do not find useful anymore, then why don’t you give it to others and make it all the more useful still? The real thing behind every car donation really depends on the state of your car that you will be giving away and the way and level your chosen charitable organization can still get to use it and benefit from it. Once they have your car, it is entirely up to them on how they will make it all the more useful.

Teens and Driving

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010

I think there should be a law that says all teenagers should have to purchase young drivers insurance. I was at a fast food restaurant the other day for lunch and overheard some kids at the next table discussing their cars. One kid was complaining that his parents were threatening to drop him from their policy. Another asked why and he said it was because he had gotten a second speeding ticket. It didn’t appear that he had any concept of how much this makes his parents’ premium go up. I’m sure the law couldn’t be enforced as parents who spoil their kids would just pay it for them. It’s sad that kids are growing up with no responsibility.

Car Shopping is Not my Thing

Monday, February 1st, 2010

My car is a piece of junk and it is finally time to put it to rest. I have been trying to keep it going for as long as I can, because I absolutely hate to go looking at cars. I already in mind the type of car that I want, but finding it is the problem. My girlfriend told me about a website online that she used that let her put in the type of car she wanted and the state that she lived in, and it would match her to dealers who are signed up with Automotive Direct Mail that has the car. I love this idea, because I do not have to waste time looking around.

The car show I went to with Cory and Jason

Friday, January 29th, 2010

Last weekend I went to a car show with my friend Cory. It wasn’t a very big one; however we both are car enthusiasts and wanted to attend. We were feeling so generous we even brought his little brother Jason. Cory is thinking about buying a new/used car in the next few months and wanted to get an idea of some new models out there. The biggest concern I have with my automobile, a Chevy suburban, was taking it to a minnetonka auto glass company to have the back window replaced. There was a small crack developing and it seemed like it was getting bigger every other day.

Alarm Systems Don’t Always lie

Tuesday, January 26th, 2010

Last night the alarm system of my car went off. I thought it was a false alarm you know. Well those things went off every now and then, don’t they?

So I went outside to turn it off and didn’t care to take a closer look.

When I wanted to get to work next morning I was shocked. One window was broken, glass all over the place, the navigation system was gone, the radio teared appart and a big hole in the driver seat (I wander what they thought they’d be finding there).

I really do hope my car insurance is going to cover it although I didn’t report it instantly (since I was heading back for some sack time).
