At Home Gourmet
Wednesday, February 24th, 2010When going out to a restaurant these days, many of us are choosing seafood instead of red meat for health reasons. Fish is so good for you that it is the wise choice. Sometimes, though, it’s hard to pass up the filet mignon or the beef wellington in favor of what might be more healthy. However, there are some exotic fish being served, such as tilapia and chilean sea bass, that make the switch a tasty one. These are lovely white fish that you don’t often think to buy when you’re in the supermarket, so they’re a real treat. Recently, however, I’ve passed the fish counter at the local market and been very impressed. I’m going to see about buying some tilapia when it’s next on sale, and I’m wondering if anyone out there has some good tilapia recipes besides the good old broil or bake.
