Yesterday, I went through my monthly routine to buy gourmet coffee online because my girlfriend loves it when I do this for her. She loves this brand of coffee called gevalia, due to it’s texture and very unique flavor that gets you sucked in when you sample it. The other day, I sampled this gevalia gourmet coffee for the first time and I can finally see why my girlfriend is so addicted to this coffee. I have never in my life tasted a coffee so good and I have arranged for myself to get a few boxes of this gourmet coffee.

I was drinking at my local bar the other night, and this guy was buying everybody drinks. After a while I went to talk to the guy. Turns out he just started this online business, and he made a killing last week. He opened up this movie download site, where people can go and after paying a membership fee, they can download all kinds of different movies. He said he was completely overwhelmed by how much money he made in such a little amount of time. I guess there is a huge demand for being able to download full movies. I never knew that could be such a profitable business. But I guess that’s why he was the one buying the drinks, and not me.

After all of the cute costumes that I saw last year that mother’s did not have to spend a lot of time or money on, this year I would like to make my own costumes for the family to wear. There were really a lot of cute handmade costumes last year and I think it would be great to get the family involved in just such a craft. I have been looking at a particular Halloween discussion forum and I can not wait to decide on a theme and start working on our project together for the fun dress up day.

I collect nursery rhyme themed figurines like Goldilocks, 3 little pigs, etc. but not Little Miss Muffet. I think I have a complex about LMMuffet. First, when I was a kid, I had no idea what curds and whey was. Curds just sounded disgusting because it sounded like something a dog did on the grass, and that was gross. (I couldn’t eat cottage cheese for 20 years because it had ‘curds’ in it.)  And then there was a spider that sat down beside her, and that freaked me out big time. I imagined a spider as big as a terrier or something coming along, so I DID NOT LIKE LITTLE MISS MUFFET. Still won’t collect her figurines, though if you do, good on you.

A talk and political commentary show on the Fox News Channel in the USA that is hosted by the conservative political commentator Bill O’Reilly is the O’Reilly Factor. A current controversial social and political issue is what the show usually covers. The show has been on the air since 1996 and has become the most watched cable news program. In spite of its popularity the show is hated by many on the left or liberal side of the political spectrum and there are many websites devoted to the dislike of Bill O’Reilly. Many people decline to appear on his show because of his approach to aggressive question and not allowing guests to put a spin on replies.

That birthday will soon be here.  Time to dust off the thinking cap and try to figure out what you can get that special man in your life.  How about a tie?  Nah…that’s the tried and true told formula.  Let’s get him something that he will really want to receive this year.  How about a trip to the edge of space?  Now that would be exciting.  How about a logo of his favorite sports team on a hammer or other unique item?  Now that would be special.  There are all kinds of items such as these unusual birthday presents on our blog.  Hope to see you there.
