Perimenopause and the Wife
Monday, September 6th, 2010When a woman reaches a certain age, troubles start. My wife is reaching that age and I believe that the trouble known as perimenopause is already plaguing her. While I have no idea if her periods are becoming irregular, she’s complaining about it more than usual. It’s not a monthly grumpiness anymore. It feels like two weeks. Then there is her increasing irritability. She’s gotten worse and I don’t think she’s noticed it yet. I get chewed off for things that would normally earn me a grimace and a dirty look. She also began waking up at night in a cold sweat. Add all this up and I think we better go to her doctor soon.
