It always pays to be sterile!

There is a thin line between the word clean and sterile.  When you say clean, you can see your hands free of any dirt.  But the thing is, it is still as dirty.  When you say sterile, it means, your hands are both clean and free of any microbes that may be harmful to the body.  During an operation, surgeons and even assistants in the surgery wear gloves to ensure that they do not contaminate the open wound of the patient.  It’s a good thing surgeons practice this as this does not only ensure sterility but at the same time assures that the patient will have no other problem after a surgery is done.  It always pays to be sterile!
