Close Call
My next door neighbor Jim took his dog for a walk last week that turned out to be a scary situation. The combination of his blood sugar and the intense August heat was more than Jim could take and he became disoriented. Thank goodness he was wearing a medical identification bracelet from his diabetes supply company. When a passerby noticed Jim having difficulties he called the ambulance. The medical personal saw the bracelet and knew right away how to best assist Jim which saved a lot of time. The next day Jim was back home from the hospital and feeling like himself again. He never goes anywhere without his bracelet now and swears it saved his life.
