Pre-Plan For Disaster: Fire Safety Training
In the event of an emergency, it’s so much easier if you have a plan and your staff are trained to carry out that plan. Quite often when you see a successful fire evacuation, you hear phrases like “the training just kicked in” – as all the actions have been well rehearsed beforehand. So enroll your staff on some fire safety training – these are often conducted by the local fire brigade. Such training doesn’t just let staff know what to do in the event of a fire, the training will also help staff understand more about how to prevent fires breaking out.
