Or go to Llanberis and take the train to the summit of Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales. We are also close to Bala Lake. This is the largest lake in Wales, and close Portmeiron, an Italian-style village on the west coast. We visit St Davids in the extreme southwest of Wales. We reach there by the Buses from Winchester. From here, from Brecon to Bath, a Roman spa. We are now in the southwest of England and go along the coast towards Lands End. Then via the south coast of Devon to Salisbury, where we have the opportunity to visit the Isle of Wight (Wight crossing to vv is not included in the fare) or go to Stonehenge and Winchester.
